TraceScore

Helps buyers and suppliers to assess the sustainability of their packaging products.

Profit from independent ESG scoring & supplier assessment. Compare prices beyond your reach.

As the name says, TraceScore a) Traces back a packaging to the production of its very components, and b) Scores the packaging about the impact it has on our planet and society.

In collaboration with sustainability consultant QUANTS and its SPIXE tool, the following standards are assessed to make buyers aware of their impact and to show them a way towards a more sustainable future of consumer goods

ECO Score is an independent rating of the impact a packaging has on the environment.

ECO Score are calculated by the packaging experts of Solubi for each product, following a methodology including factors such as: material type, weight, production practice, energy consumption for production/ recycling, number of components, transport distance until last storage, compliance with local regulations, recyclability or reusability, durability, necessity.

Every ECO scoring process relies on profound industry expertise and can in no way be influenced by the supplier.

In order to stay true to our mission, we do not list any products with a rating lower than 3, which have a higher than moderate impact on our environment.

Buyers who want to improve the impact of their current packaging portfolio can assess their current impact level and find alternative packaging.

Suppliers can assess the impact their packaging has and get advice on what needs to be changed in order to meet the ever changing demands of the industry and our planet.
